Lucario amigurumi and other things

  Well, the mystery Pokémon is complete! And, I'm pretty excited because today is the day I put his pattern up on my etsy shop. It's been finished for over a week now, but I needed good pictures, and it has been raining for the last couple of days. Not very good if you want good, clear pictures. So this morning I took him out for pictures. It was colder than I expected (silly me, it's December!) but there wasn't a cloud in the sky, so it was perfect.

  I'm not sure he came out exactly as I pictured him, but then I say to myself, "Can you tell who/what it is?" As long as you and other people can, that's what matters, right?

A miniature skunk and other things

  This past month hasn't been wholly fruitless, even if it may seem like it to me. I finished Christmas gifts for two people on my list, so I'm glad to have that marked off. Now whether they will actually like the gifts is another thing. I'll just have to wait till Christmas to find out. I hope, at least, that they will appreciate them. The next people on my list I have yet to come up with even an idea as to what to make, and it's left me quite frustrated. I know they'll like anything I make them, but I still want to make something special, and so I've been racking my brain to come up with things. But while I'm trying to come up with ideas, you shouldn't expect to find me idle.
  In fact, a couple weeks ago, I finished the skunk. I'm still wondering if I made it a little small, but so far, I'm pretty content with the design of it. But, of course, how can I tell you about it without showing a picture?

Procrastinating...

They're so cute!

  So I really wanted to have another pattern completed by now, and I kind of do have one done, but the initial image it was supposed to look like... Let's just say it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I'll have to work on it some more, but who knows when I'll get back to it. For now, I'm working on two other projects; one's a gift, and another is a little skunk. The former I may share pictures of after Christmas (who knows who's reading my blog!), the latter will be up almost as soon as it's finished.
    Now October is usually the month I start thinking about the Holidays, and specifically, what gifts to make for the people on my list. As someone who practically makes all her gifts by hand (not including the material used) I have to think of these things early on so they'll be finished by the time Christmas rolls around.

   I'd thought I'd stray away from crochet today and share some of the photographs I've taken. I love to take pictures, but I haven't been doing it so much lately because I've been so discouraged and haven't had much inspiration. Discouraged because I stored all my pictures on our (pretty) old PC and it's been swiped a couple times and all my pictures went with it. *PUFF* gone. That was some time ago, but it still make me sad. However, I was on facebook a little while ago and saw that I had put some pictures up on there, some of my favorites, so I was pleasantly surprised and relieved. However, it doesn't stop me from wishing I had all my pictures back...

Yoshi Amigurumi

I've had the pattern up in my etsy shop for a couple of days, but I wanted to make a blog post about it. What do you think of it? If you've heard about the new Yoshi game coming out, Yoshi's Woolly World, you probably know it takes place in a yarn world and everything is yarn, including Yoshi. It looks adorable! There is also a Yoshi amiibo that's being released with the game and that's where the inspiration came from to make this Yoshi.

Ladybug amigurumi

    So, I have a list of things/animals I want to make with crochet, and since the ladybug was pretty small, I decided to mark it off my list. I'm pretty pleased with the result. Since it's an easy pattern and small, I've decided to post the pattern here for anyone who wants to make their own ladybug.

Animal crossing shirt... that didn't turn out as expected

   So I finished the shirt for Stitches, but it didn't exactly turn out as I would have wanted...
