Keychains, keychains, keychains
So, last month I was working on my Shy Guy pattern and making more Yoshis. I don't really feel like saying a lot in words at the moment, so I'll just show you what I've been working on with some pictures.

Half-mark of May
I'm feeling pretty proud of myself right now. Here I am, with some pictures and an update, and it's still May! Amazing ~
Today I'm presenting pictures of the new and (hopefully) improved Shy Guy pattern. It's smaller, cuter, and the pattern is definitely easier. Everything I wanted to accomplish, completed in a week. I haven't gone over the pattern and made it into a pdf yet, but that won't take long. Once I get some pictures, zing~

Goals for May
Now, don't call me a slacker, even though I know you want to. I really want to update my blog regularly, but in order to do that, I have to have something worthy enough to write about. So I've been thinking of taking more pictures of the process I go through while making my amigurumi dolls, etc. I've just got to push myself.
A few weeks ago I bought a light box or whatever you want to call it, so I can take better pictures of my products. I'm pretty excited about that and I already started taking pictures of some. Like my Yoshi and Panda:

Finally, Spring is here
When daisies pied and violets blue,
And lady-smocks all silver-white,
And cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight,
The cuckoo then, on every tree,
Mocks married men; for thus sings he,
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo! - O word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear!
When shepherds pipe on oaten straws,
And merry larks are ploughmen's clocks,
When turtles tread, and rooks, and daws,
And maidens bleach their summer smocks
The cuckoo then, on every tree,
Mocks married men; for thus sings he,
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo! - O word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear!
And lady-smocks all silver-white,

Do paint the meadows with delight,

I don't know why, but I just thought that I would start my post with a poem today.

After a while... some things to update
First, I want to rant a little bit about not posting in over a month. When I was writing my last post, I was confident I would have time and want to post a lot. But some things have happened and my steam quickly ran out. Around this time last month I came down with the flu and I literally didn't have the strength to do anything. The first few days were the worst, because I felt so weak and couldn't eat anything. It took about 2 weeks for it to go away and even after that, I was still in recovery mode. It was a horrible experience. During that time, I crocheted very little. However, before I got sick, I did complete Moosh. And then last month I put him up on my shop, so I will post pictures below —

The New Year and resolutions
Though it is a little late in coming, Happy New Year! It's my first post this year and I hope I can post a lot more in the coming months. *crossing my fingers* I think I haven't posted anything till now because in my mind, I thought I had nothing to post. Truth is, I have lots. I wanted to share the things I made for Christmas, and the other patterns I've been working on since then, so I'll take this time to do it now.
The first one is something I made for my Grandparents. It was hard to come up with something, because I wanted it to be meaningful and something they'd like . . . I ended up making this couple.

Lucario amigurumi and other things
Well, the mystery Pokémon is complete! And, I'm pretty excited because today is the day I put his pattern up on my etsy shop. It's been finished for over a week now, but I needed good pictures, and it has been raining for the last couple of days. Not very good if you want good, clear pictures. So this morning I took him out for pictures. It was colder than I expected (silly me, it's December!) but there wasn't a cloud in the sky, so it was perfect.
I'm not sure he came out exactly as I pictured him, but then I say to myself, "Can you tell who/what it is?" As long as you and other people can, that's what matters, right?
