After a while... some things to update

  First, I want to rant a little bit about not posting in over a month. When I was writing my last post, I was confident I would have time and want to post a lot. But some things have happened and my steam quickly ran out. Around this time last month I came down with the flu and I literally didn't have the strength to do anything. The first few days were the worst, because I felt so weak and couldn't eat anything. It took about 2 weeks for it to go away and even after that, I was still in recovery mode. It was a horrible experience. During that time, I crocheted very little. However, before I got sick, I did complete Moosh. And then last month I put him up on my shop, so I will post pictures below —

  After Moosh was completed, I had a good idea who I wanted to do next. However, I didn't have all the colors for him, so I did a different character instead, since the pattern would be easy. Ruby from Animal Crossing —

  I still haven't put her pattern up on Etsy since I need to get the PDF together, but it'll be done soon! *crossesfingers* Then, after that, I started on my next project–Lemmy! My favorite koopaling —

  I'm still working on him, but I'm excited about how he is turning out and excited to finish him. I got the hardest part done, which was his mouth. The reference picture that I was using (the one above) has his mouth wide open and I thought to myself, "How the heck am I going to crochet that...?" But as I was making it, it was turning out so bad I had to stop and find different pictures of him. Lucky me, he's in Super Smash Bros WiiU so that problem was solved. Everything should be down hill now, I've just got to set aside the time to finish him.

  After that, I'm going back and fixing my Shy Guy pattern. It is such a great pattern and I don't want it to go to waste. Even though it'll be a major pain, I'm determined (right now, at least) to fix it up. And after that, well, I haven't thought that far ahead yet.
